Velvetbloom began at a kitchen table with a copper pot, a notebook of grandmother remedies, and one stubborn belief — skincare should feed your skin, never fight it.
From a kitchen pot to your top shelf
Our founder Amara started blending oat-milk cleansers for her own reactive skin after years of harsh formulas left it red and restless. Friends asked for jars. Then their friends. Within two years the kitchen pot became a certified-organic lab — but every formula is still patch-tested on real, sensitive, human skin before it earns the Velvetbloom name.
Today we cold-press botanicals in small weekly batches, stability-test every blend, and publish full ingredient lists with nothing to hide. Slow beauty, done properly.
